Hello! Loved all the birthday pictures and I especially loved the Mr. Rogers pictures! When I was in college, we used Linnea in Monet's Garden for an art book. I'll see if I can find it before you guys visit. Take care!

I personally love Catholic Heritage Curricula's Art Masterpieces collection (liturgical art). It comes in a set of 12 prints for each month and a guide booklet. Another one is Sr. Wendy Beckett's "A Child's Book of Prayer in Art". Kids and art are a good mix, beauty after all is a gift from God, just like our children :-)

Hi Austin:

Thanks for your kind post. Unfortunately, not much has changed in the past three months. I still am taking two pills per day (which are helping quite a bit). However, I still have a lot of foods I can't eat, and I do have lots of pain sometimes when I eat a food that disagrees with me (which is usually once or twice a week). I have really tried to eat foods that are as nutritionally rich as possible - since I can't eat raw fruits or vegetables or whole grains.

The one thing I have noticed is that this is a slow process. I've been ill for a year now, and recovery is slow. I can tell you that when I get regular exercise, my digestive issues are somewhat better.

So, my only advice is to be patient, exercise if you can, and google "low fiber foods" and try to make your diet as varied as possible. I wish I could offer you more.
